Professionalism Goal Reflection

As I've mentioned before, I am honestly unsure how this will help me professionally in my current position. I am searching for jobs in the software engineering sector and don't intend to switch over to writing. I see writing more as a practical skill and hobby for me, rather than something that I would like to do for work. With this being said I feel as though this could work as a showcase to potential employers that I can write and might be half decent at it. This is something that is uncommon in Computer Science people and is a marketable skill to have.

The biggest thing that I could do to meet the expectations that come with technical writing is to get rid of most of the items in my portfolio. I chose to feature mostly creative works here because that is what I have enjoyed writing the most. This goal would mean cutting everything aside from one of the works from my academic section, and my 2 computer science papers, leaving this site mostly bare.
