ChatGPT and Online Writing Communities
This is a research paper written for the Theories of Writing class as part of my Writing minor. This paper combines my interest in programming with my writing skills to examine opinions of ChatGPT in writing communities online. I wrote a program that would gather posts from reddit and then run sentiment analysis on said posts. In my own personal circles and online I had been seeing ChatGPT vilified as something that would take away people’s jobs. As someone getting a minor in writing I was curious if this sentiment was shared by my fellow writers who were active online.
Viking Sword Midterm Analyses
This was a paper from an Anthropology class that I took to satisfy the Theory, History, and Research requirement for the writing minor. For this essay, I used an analysis method we were taught in class to examine a few images of a found Viking sword. My thought process is very clear in this piece and demonstrates how much information can be gathered from seeming scarcity.
