Revision Assignment
This story is a revision of an analysis essay on a decorative Viking sword. I took this original essay and artifact as inspiration for a short story. This was a challenging piece to write for me because I was confined by what the original artifact told me about its history and uses. This meant that my normal free-flowing story telling style was slightly railroaded onto a narrower track than I’m used to.
