Course List

Here you will find a list of the courses that I have taken in my college career that pertain to the works that you can find in my portfolio. The links here will take you to the page of the writing for that class if applicable.

My Courses

Introduction To AI

Introduced a variety of Artificial Intelligence concepts and techniques, relevant to a broad range of applications. I examined multiple techniques including search, knowledge representation and reasoning, probabilistic inference, machine learning, and natural language processing.

Artifacts Texts and Meanings

This course looked at the questions: How is it that anthropologists can look at an object in a museum collection and state with confidence what it once was a part of, how it was used, where it came from, how old it is, and even, perhaps, what it meant to the people who made it? What is an anthropological approach to documentation, an important accompaniment to the objects held in museums?

Software for AI Robotics

This course provided an introduction to the key artificial intelligence issues involved in the development of intelligent robotics. I examined a variety of algorithms for autonomous mobile robot behavior, exploring issues that include software control architectures, localization, navigation, sensing, planning, and uncertainty. I also was introduced to the Robot Operating System (ROS) middleware, which is popular in academic, industry, and government research

Theories of Writing

This course introduced a number of theories of writing, providing an overview of complex issues and research into the state and status of writing and writers. I learned how various theorists, historians, and researchers answer these questions, and they will apply that knowledge to their own projects.

Creative Writing Courses (ENGL 1000, 2010)

In these courses I learned the ins and outs of creative writing and found my voice as a nonfiction writer. These were very valuable to me as a writer because I have spent most of my life ashamed of my writing and viewed it as a something that just needed to be completed for classes. This is where I found my love for the art form.
